Literacy Supporters,  If you are retired you may not receive a United Way donation form through an employer.  You may call the LVBC Office to receive a donation form.  The form gives you the opportunity to donate directly to Literacy Volunteers of Beaufort County by writing Literacy Volunteers on the line under Specific Request.  Your donation is tax deductable. Without United Way funding LVBC and many other community service/nonprofits in Beaufort County  would not exist.  Due to the loss of jobs and the general economic turn down contributions to United Way have been negatively impacted. I hope you will consider this opportunity.

Many thanks for your continued support of adult literacy work in our community.
